HogPro Scooter Wheels

Read more about our wheels

Our stunt scooter wheels are manufactured to the highest levels. We only use wheels that have cnc cut alloy cores, wheels that are fitted with abec 9 bearings and the PU or rubber compound that is 88a hardness. This gives the scooter a smooth quiet ride with lots of traction.

Our wheels are sold as pairs unless indicated in the description. We stock 100mm, 110mm and 120mm. Types of wheels that we have available are hollow core, 20 spoked wheels, opposite spoke and 5 spoke.

PLEASE NOTE: If upgrading your 100mm wheels to 110mm you will also need to upgrade your brake to a 110mm brake, these brakes are available in our accessories section.

When looking at stunt scooter wheels, always check what bearings are fitted. Abec 9 bearings are standard for pro stunt scooters, make sure the wheel is metal core and not plastic/nylon or PU core.

The rubber compound is also very important, plastic or hard PU mix will make the ride hard, noisy/bumpy and have a lot of slip to them. 88a is the industry standard used by pro stunt scooter brands.

All the wheels we stock can have the bearing removed and replaced ensuring that you get the maximum use out of your wheels.

Wheel size comparison

110mm wheels are generally considered the better all-around choice for scooter riders, offering more advantages than 100mm wheels. Here are some of the benefits of 110mm wheels:

  • Speed and acceleration: 110mm wheels offer a balance between speed and acceleration.
  • Durability: 110mm wheels last longer than 100mm wheels because they have more urethane.
  • Ground clearance: 110mm wheels increase the scooter deck base height, which gives you more ground clearance to roll over obstacles.
  • Manualing: 110mm wheels are easier to manual with because the break is closer to the wheel.
  • Rolling experience: 110mm wheels create an upgraded rolling experience.
  • Versatility: 110mm wheels are a good all-rounder, offering speed like 120mm wheels but with a similar weight to 100mm wheels.

100mm wheels are a popular choice for trick-oriented riders because they prioritize quick acceleration and agility. They offer a good compromise between stability, maneuverability, comfort, and speed.
